释文：万绿阴中，小亭避暑，八闼洞开，入簟皆绿，雨过蝉声，风来花气，令人自醉，大抵黑白善恶，只宜在心，不宜在口，内存精明，外示浑厚，此大豪杰之局，量若灵台无主，一味鹘突，岂包荒之谓哉，回光自照，予心中善恶太分明，遇有不平，触机辄发，以此涉世难矣。请取此语为终身之韦弦，一言而能伤天地之和，一事而能折终身之福者，切须检点。
凡人及语，所不平，则气必动，色必变，辞必厉，惟韩魏公不嘫，更说到小人忘恩背义，欲倾己处而辞气和平，乃如道寻常事。
好丑太明则物不契，贤愚太明则人不亲。士君子须是内精明而外浑厚，使好丑两得其平，贤愚受益才称德量，有作用者，器宇定是不凡，有受用者，才情必不云露，风来疏竹，风过而竹不留声，雁渡寒潭，雁去而潭不留影。故君子事来而心始见，事去而心随空。邓石如篆书。
